A trauma informed approach
At Willowtree, we use a trauma informed approach which means that we see you as a whole person, with a history and experiences that have brought you to where you are now - we prefer to ask “what happened to you”, not “what’s wrong with you”. We work with you to find out how you would like to feel after you have finished your sessions with us and we use the 5 principles of trauma informed care - safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness and empowerment to support you through your journey with us.

Hello I’m Ashton, Founder of Willowtree Wellbeing
I have been working with individuals, couples and families in for over a decade both in Australia and the UK. I am passionate about good mental health and I feel strongly that when people are supported in a safe, supportive environment then they can begin to heal from things that they have experienced.
After years of training and experience I decided to open my own practice, dedicated to trauma informed care of individuals and couples, helping people to heal, to resolve trauma, to communicate with others, build better relationships and engage in life in a meaningful and fulfilling way.
I am grateful to have a wonderful team of clinicians who have similar values and are able to offer support both in Albury and all around Australia
